Jazz vocalist/songwriter, film and music producer Jesse Charbonier released his first album in August of 2013, “Jesse Charbonier: Live at the VIC Theater — Chicago,” in 2013.  In that album he pays tribute to iconic vocalists such as Chet Baker, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne and Diana Ross.  That release follows the chart topping original recording “Let’s Not Discuss It”, released in 2010.

With vocals and lyrics by Charbonier, and composed by Federico D'Antoni, the Juan Manzur produced recording reached the top of the Jazz Charts.

The accompanying music video of "Let's Not Discuss It," produced by Charbonier has been called “A Masterpiece,” “Cinematic,” “Breathtaking,”

After a 5 year residency performing monthly at Chicago’s iconic Drake Hotel in its legendary Coq d’ Or Lounge to rave reviews, Charbonier has taken a break to record his first studio album as well as work on his directorial debut of a film called "Stormy Weather Rhapsody." Charbonier is looking forward to the release of both his album & film in the Fall of 2017, as well as announcing his new 2017/2018 residency.

Past performances include such venues as New York City’s Henry’s Restaurant and Lounge (formerly Birdland), Chicago’s Vic Theater, Ditkas's as well as for such prestigious organizations as The Chicago International Film Festival and numerous private corporate events.
